How do you Remove Flight Couse Line on map. After the flight is over?

Last night I flew a GPS Route and watched flight on Plan G.
used ALt-Tab to swich beween Fs9 and PG. after I landed I and
Closed Flight on my GPS. Flight plan Line was still on map?
Thanks I am just Learning how to use Plan G

New Flightplan. On the Quick Access toolbar, and Application Menu.

I would like to remove the course line from my maps, how do I do this, I have tried clicking the red X, but that does not stop or remove the track. Teecee
