can't connect to FX Steam

I have both fsx and fsx steam on my computer...I installed the files and when asked I told it to install into FSX..it did not give me the option for Steam?...how can I make it work with FSX STEAM ?

You simply need to put the path to the Steam scenery.cfg in the Locations tab. That's all, everything else is common.

I can not find the fsx steam scenery.cfg

I selected a path to the scenery.cfg in steam/steamappa/common/scenery.cfg. the plan-g files are in there...but it will not connect to the game

I finally connected through FSUICP in the options menu in Plan-G. but I don't think the southern Germany ORBX files are there..

You can easily see if they were included by looking in the log file (My Documents\Plan-G Files\Plan-G_Log.txt)
