I can't see the user-aircraft in the map when Plan-G is connected to FSX. There is no yellow sign!

Kind regards

Hi

Make certain that under FILE/OPTIONS/USER AIRCRAFT you have a tick in AIRCRAFT DISPLAY (F6) and also that MAP SYNC has a tick in SYNC just to make sure you are showing the correct location.
Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Are you sure you are connected?Do you get the black rectangle wind arrow in the top left corner?

Also how are you connecting? FSUIPC or Simconnect? Single PC or across a LAN?

Hi Tim,
I have recently switched from P3D v3 to P3Dv4.4 and cannot see the usual User Aircraft icon on the map.
The Flight Plan is there, but no yellow aircraft icon is present.
I have both Display Aircraft and map Sync set to ON.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Tim,

I have followed your instructions on how to show the User Aircraft in P3D4, but selecting 'Connect with:SimConnect P3D' still did not make the User Plane appear on the map.

So I tried all combinations in FS Connection Parameters and found that the only one that worked was with 'SimConnect FSX' chosen.

Puzzling!

Very strange. You'd need to post the log file to see what's going on.
