Hiya Tim,  Just a quick question if that's OK.  Is it possible for your Plan-G to see other aircraft on the map, other than mine and AI,ie, group members.
              And also I saw the post ref. documentation, ie, manual, when is it available.   Cheers   Myk

Multiplayer aircraft will show up as AI, but note that helicopters don't show up currently (being fixed right now  ;))

The manual will be available when it's done; sorry I can't be more specific than that.

No that is perfectly alright Tim about the manual, I will as they say ,watch this space.  ;)  Great about other aircraft, and take your time over whirlygigs,  ::)    After all Rome was never built in one day  :laugh:   If I may also ask, I have discovered at least two airfields that I have in my add-on scenery folder and in fsx airfield folder but they do not show on the map in Plan-G, any ideas.  The two in question are BENTWATERS/WOODBRIDGE from the airfield construction group.    Cheers  Myk

Was there an error in the log file for those to airfields when you built the database?

Tim   Not to my knowledge there was not an error on the log file for those airfields.  They are there in FSX but I am afraid they do not show on Plan-G, they are even missing from the airports list in Plan-G, Even when I am approaching them or even sat at them, they do not show on the map or in the list.  I have just checked the log file and it shows no errors on it.  Tim could you possiblebly include an auto up-date function to the next build please, I have tried to look for the 358 build and have not found it.   Cheers  Myk

358 is here: http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/plan-g/files/PlanG_358_Test.zip It's not a full release, so just copy the exe over the top of your existing program

If that doesnt solve it, can you send me the bgls from that scenery, and I'll have it fixed for 360 or 361.

Tim      I am not sure which of the .bgl files it is that you require for the airfields because they are together in the one folder. And all the files contained within the folder are all .bgl files. And when I tried to attach to this forum for you,it turned out they are  too big to send this way. So I will E-mail you the files.  Cheers  Myk

Tim   Is there going to be an update in the near future for Plan-G to be able to display smaller farm strips and the like. If I spawn my aircraft at a farm field, the aircraft displays on the map but not the airstrip.     Cheers Myk

Right-click on the map; select 'Create User Waypoint' from the menu, and change the waypoint type in the dialog to Airstrip. Et voilà  :)!

Hiya  Tim   :laugh: Just an observation over other aircraft if I may, We were flying the other night and I found that I was only able to see one other player's aircraft at a time, ie When Roger was up and flying, he  showed up on the map but Gary did not. When Roger switched off and his plane symbol dissappeared, Gary's plane symbol took over. And this has happened on two other occassions, so I am not sure what type of bug that it is to cause this. ???     Secondly, is it going to be in an up-dated version, to show on map screen, ILS feathers at each airport that have them.  I will say that having now used this Plan-G for about three weeks so far, I am finding it the type of programme ,we should have been using from the beginning, absolutely magic.   Cheers for now  Myk

Make sure you are using the latest version (362), since there have been a number of fixes surrounding multiplayer aircraft.

ILS feathers are on the to-do list, but I can't give you a time frame.

Tim   I know just how busy you are on other things to do with this prog, so I would not dare to ask for any time frame from you.  We all know Rome was not built in a day, and perfection does take a little bit longer. ;)   I have already got build 362, so therefore will wait very patiently for the next thrilling update.    Cheers for now    Myk
