Thanks. You are building the database for FSX. Is that correct? (I thought you were trying to build for FS2020)

Hi, no I am trying to build database for the new MSFS 2020, not the old one, why, what have I done?

I did have the old one through steam before but I thought I had deleted it.

You selected "Build FSX". Every time.

11:57:42.3 Building database for FSX
11:57:42.3 FS directory is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\
11:57:42.3 Scanning Scenery.cfg (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\Scenery.cfg)

... and it couldn't find it.

OK so I'm an idiot, but it still doesn't help me resolve my problem.
what directory do I put where so that it finds the correct info for the data base?

Please be patient, I am 75 and I think my faculties are failing me!!

Is this part of it: G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator, if so where do I put is>

Regards

You're not an idiot by any means - this is information that's been changing almost daily as new data came to light.

I've just put up build 223, which (hopefully) has got it right now. I've added instructions for Steam users, but basically you just need to provide one thing - the location of your Steam library (in the Steam Library field). Nothing else should be needed, unless it all goes drastically wrong (hopefully not!).

Let me know how you get on.
