Using latest, downloaded yesterday.  System XP64 - Q9650 @ 3.88 - 4G ram GTX280

Running Plan-G on second monitor. Running FSX, ASA and TrackIR. Flying F-86 at 480kts. FSX frames were 30 - capped at 30

Plan-G was in Terrain mode and update frequency was set to 1 and the a/c was set to sync

Plan-G did not update every second as anticipated and when it did update the a/c would jump from place to place - no smooth movement at all.

They weren't running in this session but I have run FSMap, Courseplanner and FSCommander 8 (not together) and gotten smooth movement of the a/c over the map.

Thanx,

Vic

I don't understand the point of this post.. is it that that aircraft moving over the map was a little jerky? if so, what does it matter? so long as you can see where the aircraft is positioned at any given time, surely that is enough? Teecee.

jerky movement is not acceptable, that's what. You might be satisfied but I think it's a big deal. Considering that competitive programs have a smooth moving map function, I expect that Plan-G should do the same. I was unable to manually follow the flight plan using the map due to the erratic movement of the a/c icon - no real way to know where it was positioned - especially at 500kts.

It should be smooth - period.
