Same Data, Different Display!

I hope I am not going nuts!
I have Plan-G (v4.0.0.233) on my flying machine and on my navigating window machine, and when I fly I have the two linked, no problem.
My usual practice is to create Plan-G data files on my flying machine, and then copy the data files over to my navigating machine, and I did this today for both FSX and P3d, as I had added some airfields to Austria.
When I look at an added airfield on my flying machine I can see the airfield symbol, and a quick hover with the mouse displays - LOAB Dobersberg / Dobersberg / Elev 1712 ft.
When I look at the same spot on my navigating machine I just see a white circle symbol, and a quick hover with the mouse displays - TP DBR / Dobersberg Disentis / Elev 1719 ft. /TP.
I have checked that LOAB is in the data file for FSX and P3d - what first alerted me was when I tried the Find Airport function for LOAB on the navigating machine and it couldn't find it.
Is there any logic to explain why the same program with the same data displays different results?

Plan-G v4 data is stored in My Documents\Plan-G V4 Files. If you still have v3 data on your PC, is it possible you copied to/from the wrong folder?
