I have just installed Plan-G v 4.0.0.258 and whenever I move the waypoint marker to a new position the Magenta flight path name does not correct to the new position, it is still in the old position.  Am I miising something or doing something wrong?

Seems strange. Do the lat/longs of the waypoints update in the plan window? Does the line redraw correctly if you exit from Edit Mode? (I

Yes the waypoints lat and long do change in the flight plan,

No, the lines do not redraw when exiting edit mode.

Thanks. Am I right in thinking you made the plan by dragging the edit point of the final leg each time?

After some playing around it seems that this only happens if you drag the end point or the intermediate marker on the final leg (I have to admit I've pretty much never created a plan that way - I just right click where I want to go, and "add to plan". Which is not to say it shouldn't work.) Any other marker will drag & drop just fine, but not the last two. And once they've 'broken', they stay 'broken'.

I'll need to look into what's going on.

For now, I'd suggest creating a plan by right clicking, and only use edit mode to adjust legs earlier in the plan.

BTW, if you save the plan and reload it, it should show correctly after reloading.

Hi Tim
I create the plan in the normal way by right clicking and "Add to plan" once I have created the plan I sometimes want to move/stretch one of the plan legs to a new position and that is where I get the anomaly that the magenta trace stays in the original postion and does not readjust to the new waypoint position.

When I relaod the .plg file it still shows the magenta lines in the wrong position.

I have the same issue since the first time I tried Plan-G v4, including the latest version:

You can use the "Edit Flight Plan" function properly only once. To reproduce the issue simply do this:

1. Create a fight plan
2. Use Edit Flight Plan feature and drag one marker or more to a new position (as you would to plan for a flyby near a point of interest, which I will do pretty much on every single flight).
3. Leave "Edit Flight Plan" mode.
4. Enter "Edit Flight Plan" mode again, like you would to make corrctions, and drag one of the previously moved markers to a new position.

You will see that the marker position will change but that the flight plan line does not adjust. It stays in the former position. I only see this behavior in Plan-G v4. It worked flawless in Plan-G v3.

Ok thanks. I've reproduced that, & it'll be fixed for the next build.

Hi Tim
I am afraid there is still an issue with this in 259.

With reference to my attached picture and in "Edit plan" mode
If you move any midpoint of a leg (Circled 1) to a new position the magenta line follows to the new position.
If you move any endpoint of a leg (Circled 2) the magenta line stays in the old position.

Try it out to see what I mean.

Please see my above response.  ;)
