Hi .  I am asking if somebody had this issue with plan G.  First issue mis that everytime I start Plan-G i get a messge asking me to build the database for FSX or FS9.  I did this the first time I ran the software.  Second issue is that I can load and open a flight plan the map is setting accordinly but I cannot see the line of the flight plan on the map.  Can somebody help on these?  It will be very appreciated and Tim, great thank you for this wonderful piece of work! ;D

OK, captjaco, I have to ask you for some information:
- do you have FSX or FS9 on your FS PC?
- Is Plan-G on your FS PC or on a networked PC?
- when you create the FSX or FS9 database, do the airports and navaids show on the Plan-G map?

- have you "told" Plan-G WHERE FS and its scenery.cfg file are located? (Plan-G Options/Locations)
This is all covered in the Manual, Sections 5 and 6.4.5

You can also send a copy of the Plan-G Log (Plan-G_Log.txt) that will show what files Plan-G is using.

Also, what is your operating syatem, and where did you install Plan-G?

If you have Windows 7 or Vista, have you turned off UAC, and are you running 'as administrator'?

Hi Tim and Jeff.  Thank you for your answer.  Plan G is installed on a stand alone PC using XP sp 2-3.  Both FS9 and FSX are installed on the same drive.  Plan G is installed in a folder called Plan-G on the c- drive not in programs files.  All files for data about airports and navaids are in default locations that are supposed to be read automatically by plan-g.  I went to the log text and I noticed errors.   It seems that plan g cannot read the airports and the navaids when running build  database.  Everything else seems to work properly when build database is run.  I will try to go to options and tell again where are the files for FS and scenery.cfg.  If it does not work I will send you copy of the log.txt.  In the meantime accept my thanks and my best wishes.

Can you post the log file with the errors, and I'll take a look...
