The .plg file format has been introduced in Plan-G v2. What are the advantages of .plg?

On the same subject, when retrieving a flight plan, Plan-G defaults to the .plg format. Can this be re-set to .pln?

Many other welcome changes in the new version. Thanks

Greetings,

The FS .pln format will not show things like waypoint cross-references, crossing altitudes, notes, etc.

What I normally do is save the plan twice once for FS and once for Plan-G. When I open the flight plan in Plan-G I use the .plg format.

To my knowledge there is no way for you to change the default selection.

HTH,
Joe
