Can't startplan-G.Help ?

Hi,
I have installed plang-g but for some reason it won''t run. I get an error " System.IO.FileNotFoundException" and then it hangs.

Any help appreciated.

Does it create a log file (Plan-G_Log.txt)? If so, could you please upload it.

It looks like you don't have the needed permissions to open the database.

Did you install it to the default location (Program Files)? Try installing it somewhere else.

Are you running Plan-G 'As Administrator? Is your windows login an 'ordinary user' or do you have admin priveleges?

Make sure when you install that you right-click SETUP.ece and select Run As Administrator.

I installed the software in c:\tassoftware\plang, ran setup.exe as admin, I'm using an admin account. Same error:

I tried reinstalling in my d:\drive same thing. It crashes and hangs .

Not really. The only thing I can think of is making a debug build and seeing how far it gets. But I won't be able to do that before tomorrow.

Hello Tim,

First of all, congrats on this fine piece of software. I've been using it since 0.9 version
and have become addicted to it. Today I moved to this new version and I have the same
problem as other people have. I have just overwritten plan G2 executable with this new
one yuo've posted and it still hangs on startup. I'm running Windows 7 32 bits and my
.NET Framework is updated. PlanG 2.0 Log says:
