Problem with installing V2.0.5 (build 492)

Thanks for this great programme. I really enjoy using it. I have downloaded the latest version, unzipped it and tried to install, but I got the follwoing message

Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To coonfigure or remoe the existing version of this prodcut, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

I have used the clearSettings.exe to no avail. I also ran the uninstaller, which incidentally did not uninstall the programme.

Your install instruction states that it is not necessary to uninstall the older version.

Could you please check into this issue, or am I the only one with this problem. I am running Win7 Pro x64.

I did a repair of the previous version, than I ran unistall again, and this time it worked. Afterwards I had no issue with the installation.

I don't know, what went wrong on my side.

I had the same problem...Said I had to remove previous version...Repair did not work... Since I am a new user and have'nt used the program yet I removed it and install worked OK.
