Hello,
I am slowly migrating to a new PC running Win7 Pro X64.

I hope the attached can help.

I never had these error on XP SP3

Not really anything to go on there.

- What were you doing when it crashed?
- Are you running as administrator?
- Is FS running as administrator?

Tim. @TimArnot

Emile

Hello,
Seams solved since the "run as admin"
Thanks

Emile

Hello,
No it is not solved.
FSX, Plan-g, AISmooth and ASE are running in Admin mode.
But I have again the same error.
FSX , ASE , AISmooth and PLan-G are active and during the flight I receive error popup.
I have attached the log, I do not see any error in the log , all I can see is that Plan-g is restarted.

What do I need to collect to help finding the problem?
Thanks in advance.

If you look in the Windows Application logs in Event Viewer, you may find something..

Unfortunately that doesn't tell me anything useful.

Does it only crash if you are connected to FS?
What happens if you use FSUIPC instead of SimConnect?

Tim. @TimArnot

Emile

Hello,
Yes only when connected.
I will try with FSUIPC . If I do remember well the selection is on "auto"

Emile

Hello,
Same problem using FSUIPC.
When the error is showing Plan G stops (no window). FSX, IASmooth and ASE continue to run.
I restart Plan g the window is visible , I connect Plan g to FSX and it crashes again. I can try again and it crashes.
I need to stop FSX and restart FSX . So PLan g runs again for awhile ..

You could try this build - just copy the files over the top of your existing ones -- but make a backup first!. It's a debug build, and it may show information that the release build didn't. It's labelled as build 494, but that's just so you can see you're running it; there's no functional difference over 493.

If this doesn't show the problem then I'm at a loss.

Emile

Hello,
I had the same error problem. FSX, ASE, Aismooth and Plan-G were active.
No iuput from me. Game running smooth... Plan-G crash.
I hope the log will help you.
What else do I need to upload?
I wait your answer before restarting PLan-G and FSX, .....

If there's any improved information, it will be in the Windows log; the P-G log will not show anything different.

Tim. @TimArnot

Emile

Hello Tim,
"Windows log"?
The Event viewer show the same information , I think...
Where to search deaper?

'Fraid I have no idea then. You could try reinstalling DotNet, but that's about all I can suggest. :(

Tim. @TimArnot

Emile

Hi Tim, I have installed .net 4 .... Is .net 4 OK?
I have unistalled / reinstalled Plan-G from scratch, rebuild the Plan-G DB ,
I start Plan-g , I start FSX I connect via FSUIPC and .. crash Plan-g...

I will now try using SimConnect
