Trail Analysis

Have used the new Plan-G 8 for a good run EGBJ to EGBS and back tonight with lots of CIX traffic. How does the Trail analysis work, and what are the orange and red trails.

Click on the folder button to open a trail file (you need to have the 'log trails' option selected, or it won't record any). Red and orange represent the colours the trails will be drawn in. You can change the colours, and you can have two trails open at a time. The number dropdown represents the line thicknes. Hover the mouse over the buttons and you'll see the tooltips.

I think I'm being thick - where do i find the "log trails" option?

I've just discovered what the problems was thanks.  I'd got the dreaded "second monitor on the left" problem, and when that happens then the menu that should appear when clicking on the logo in the top left corner doesn't appear, so i oculnd't find the options.

I've now moved PlanG back to the right hand monitor and it all works fine.  (I'm not planning to change my monitor set-up as it's all organised very ergonomically)
