Hello.

I downloaded Plan-g few days ago and it's great little program. But I have one question: Is it possible to permamently disable displaying airspace or navaids? It takes ages to zoom in or out while in Europe due to amount of those layers. I unticed all airspace types but after zooming they all come back on. It'd be great to be able to turn it all off, find the location you wany and then turn it on again.

I can confirm this behaviour. The tick boxes in the Map Settings Ribbon won't stay un-selected after you change the zoom level. When at zoom level 7 or lower, the CPU load on my Athlon Dual-Core goes up to 50 - 70% on both cores.

You can set them for each individual zoom level, and they will be remembered for that level, but there's no global disable setting. I can look at providing something that would act as a block (it won't change the display setting, it'll just stop the airspace being drawn until you unselect it), if that'll do what you want...

So, Greg, go to somewhere in Outer Mongolia to set the facilities to display for the lower zoom levels, and they should be remembered once you get back to Europe  ;)

I just did that and it stays after quitting the program. Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't noticed that it remembers what I selected.
