Hello I'm running plan g on my laptop with the simconnect. But every time my simulator crashes i have to restart the computer with FSX on it for plan G to connect back to it. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

THis happens to me sometimes.  When the sim crashes, SimConnect loses its connection to your laptop. Rebooting the FSX PC is the only solution which has ever worked for me.  Sometimes when I boot up both PCs Simconnect fails to "take" and i have to do it again. The usual symptom of this is that my Goflight radios all read 100.00

If FSX crashes, the Simconnect ports remain open in memory but disconnected from anything, so it's not possible to reconnect without rebooting. Just the way it is, I'm afraid.

Found solution for this last night, on how to kill the process blocking the TCP port simconnect uses after an FSX crash.
