covert plg file to text

Hi,
Is it possible to convert .plg file to a .text file?

Is there a way to email the FlighPlan and map which currently you only can review and print it.

1. Just rename it.

2. Print to a file and then email the file. Or make a screenshot.

1. What I meant by converting the pln to txt file so that it is readable. It will not work that way by only renaming it. Any other solution?

2. How do you print (flight plan) to a file? It only gives you two choices; 1.review and quick print. If copied and paste it to a work doc, the result is a mess, not in the same organized sequence as in the original.
    On the map I scan the print out and email it even the result is not as nice as the original pint out.
