Hi,

I really like Plan-G for my VFR flights. However, there is one feature that I am missing. It would be great if Plan-G could display the wind direction as crosswind and headwind/tailwind components. So Plan-G would do the math with cos and sin.

For example, if I am flying on a course of 0° and the wind is at 20 knots from 30°, Plan-G could do the math and display the headwind component of 17,3 knots and the crosswind component of 10 knots. Aivlasoft EFB (which I am using for IFR) has a nice graphic to display the wind components. In the screenshot it shows a headwind of 15 knots and a crosswind from the right side with 8 knots.

Would it be possible to add a feature like this to Plan-G?

Regards,
Martin
