I am about to install Plan-G build 3.0.0.46 on a Windows7 64 bit system where my only installed simulator is X-Plane10.10 RC3.

Any hints / suggestions?

Ok! Thx for the hint sky one! - I will search for the installer

But, during database build, when I try to choose X-Plane10 folder in the settings, I click on it but it never gets selected (?) Where should I point the database builder to?

Never mind... I had to select x-plane.exe in order for the folder to get selected - not evident, but solved :-)

But... the build process doesn't come to an end :-(

I have manually selected the "Custom Scenery" folder and added it to the folders to look for, but still the same...

Jcomm,

Take a look at your PlanG Log.txt file (located in your Win 7 Doc directory) and attach it to your next msg so Tim can take a look at it
and see where the hang up is.

Or don't try to build your database along with Custom Scenery and see what happens.

Thnak you Chcuk,

after a reboot, when I now started Plan-G and asked for the generation of the database, the process finally got going, and the progress bar is moving and showing what's being processed as I type this post :-)

I didn't have .net 4 installed, and during the install process it was downloaded & installed, but maybe a reboot was required (?)

Well :-)

Installation just ended and looks good!

Thx!

Glad its working for you.   You might want to look around the forum when you get time, I think PlanG V3 looks pretty hard for Net 4, I could
be wrong, maybe Tim will chime in.
