Getting timed out connection with simconnect

Hi
I have been trying to use Plan g with a second computer. I cannot connect, I have checked the log and the last entry is
Simconnect.Connect-remote. Mode=IPv4 Server 192.168.0.3 Port=4505
Simconnect connection timed out
Disconnect.

I have checked both settings are the same in simconnect.xml and in the plan g FS Connection Parameters. I don't see an option to save your settings when you change them, Can anyone please help ?

I forgot to add </SimBase.Document> to the end of the xml.file. Stupid......

Is that port number being used by something else?

Pretty much the only reasons a connection would fail are:

* ip wrong or doesn't match the xml
* port in use or doesn't match the xml (could be because FSX previously crashed & the port is now blocked)
* xml in wrong place
* FSX not running or not SP2/Acceleration
