and now my v3.0 Plan -G will not load.

I am using build 50 and it loads. But when I click on 'connect' it freezes immediately.  Any ideas?  I sure miss having Plan-G available.
Here are the versions of DirectX and C++ Library that I loaded.

1. Direct X -  http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

2. C++ Library - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/KB961894/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=2067

You want to download and install:

ENU (vcredist_x86.exe) NOTE: Or the one which is right for your OS language   ENU= ENGLISH

DO NOT install the x64 version. Even with a 64bit OS the C++ library update you need is the 32bit (x86) version, because FSX is a 32bit application

Any sugguestions would be appreciated.

Ray,

you can find the log file (Plan-G_Log.txt) in the "Documents\Plan-G Files" folder.

Is there an error in the log?

Not sure which may be errors  . . .  here is the only log that I found.
Cheers,

I just tried again and here is the Plan-G_Log.txt file that was generated.  Plag-G died within 30 seconds from start.

Nothing in there I'm afraid. There might be something recorded in the Windows Application log (get to it through Event Viewer), but that's about all I can suggest.

Thanks for looking.  Here is the first return on Plan-G search in the event log.

Not that I'm aware of, but with microsoft DLLs, one thing can call another, and then who knows...

OK thanks.  The way it is now, I have to choose either Flight1 Mustang or Plan-G.  Ugh.

Got Plan-G running again.  I undid the uiautomationcore.dll fix and had to reinstall FSUIPC.

Thanks.
