in new v3 the "connect" keeps coming off

Downloaded version 3 but will not connect with FSX.

Before worked OK with v2.

Also Lock, Free & Sync  are locked, cannot change them.

PS. Modify:-  I switched back to v2.0.5.493 & same thing with a warning caming up "....Unable to connect to remoteFS (timeout), ChrckFSX is running& that your protocol settings are correct....."

Can you help please?

Do you have "Run As Administrator" set? Is it set the same as your FS install?

The only set administrator I have is in user accounts of XP's control panel.

This was not an issue in 2010 when I installed v2, like I did now with v3, & connected with FSX.

I never saw any such setting in FSX & can not see options in Plan-G for setting Admin.

How do I go about it please?

I managed to find this, by right clicking the ".exe files & Run as", & is same for Plan-G & FSX.

Is this setting them to "run as administrator"?

Still unable to connect the two.

Sorry all,

;D I solved it , I found that FSX SP1/2 were not installed. Now the two connect.
