New Nav-Data for X-plane should be done in about a week according to Robin Peel, keeper of the data.

A quote from a note by him to the .ORG site:
I want to aplogise for the long delay in providing a update to the X-Plane airport and nav-aid data. Job changes led me to build a huge back-log in X-Plane correspondence & updates.  I am working through it now - nothing should have been lost.  I have reviewed the first 300 submissions - about 200 more to go (and each submission often contains dozens of airport changes).

I hope to complete this process by next weekend.

Sounds like folks have been busy submitting corrections to him over the last number of months.
For those not familiar with the nav-data site it is at:   http://data.x-plane.com/

You might want to read the How You Can Help item.

New Nav-Data for X-plane is now available at Robin Peels site:  http://data.x-plane.com/

If you prefer to go right to the data download: http://data.x-plane.com/get_data.html (left side of the screen; Download Latest Data.

I just installed the latest data manually (follow the explicit instructions) and updated Plan-G (Data, Build Navigation Database), all
updates into plan-G went just fine.
If your uncomfortable with moving files then just wait for the next x-plane update and the Apt.data will be installed at that time.

Missing PAPI lights are now available and hundreds of various airport changes. See View Change Log.
