Hi to you all, my name is duke and new at this site.
I stepped over from fsx to x-plane 10 and installed g-plan
I need the software of xuipc and installed it.
I can see within x-plane under plugins is there.
The only problem I have is the message I got:
cannot find UDP wrong IP number
I filled in the one which comes with the tekst
Ip ...
server Ip....
but no luck
is there anyone who could help me with that

kind regards
duke

In your folder:

X plane/Resources/plugins/XPUIPC is XPUIPC.ini. Open it with Notepad and set here the IP of the computer runing X plane.

The first lines of my config:

XPUIPC Version 1.0.2.3 ini file

[XPUIPC SETTINGS]
Tune value = 00
Server Address = 192.168.1.15.

In Plan-G, type localhost if Plan-G and x plane runs on the same PC.

Regards.

I am lost Birdy,
the serveraddress=192.168.1.20 which come up in the ini file but my ipv4 is different.
in both cases it doesnot work
get the message
no udp wrong ip number

tim arnot

You need the ip address of YOUR computer, not whatever happened to be in the ini file

Open a command line on your FS computer (run CMD.exe), type IPCONFIG and hit enter. It will tell you the ip address.

I did that I have IPv4 and standard gateway IP
I tried both in xuipc.ini
I have no server, so one computer
what line do I take in the ini file
IP address of the server or /and IP address of the computer

Birdy.dma

In the .ini file type the IP of your computer (of course not the internet IP). Save.

It is the IPV4 adress found as Tim said.

There is no more to do.

For the side part of Plan-G, read the doc. It is very well done.

PS: there is a read me in your XPUIPC folder Could help.

Post again here if necessary. You have also a dedicated thread on the org about XPUIPC.

allright it is working now.
I was confused about the xuipc wide according the text.
that one gives the message no UDP etc., now I leave that one off and it works now.

before starting to read the manual I have a small question to understand G-plan.
in the g-plan I made a route and saved as.. and export it to xplane and than connect.
now my question is, if x-plane is running where at the upper left can I find the route which has been made and saved?
so the info of the route is into the aircraft

Birdy.dma

Just open the route you have exported in X plane.

Find the path with the opened browser, and don't forget to open a .fms, not a .plg.
