I added a third party scenery (commercial) to FSX following which the map view no longer distinguishes between land and sea.
The supplier suggested I download G-Plan.

Am I correct in understanding that G-Plan is a stand alone program that can be used in conjunction with FSX.

So if I wanted to, I could continue to use FSX and G-Plan will not affect FSX, unless I choose to use it.
Therefore I will not have to remove any add ons before downloading G-Plan.

Once I load a flight plan via G-Plan, FSX map view will be "replaced" by google maps?

My FSX is in the Win 7 (X86) programs folder.

All help appreciated and any other info that may be helpful.

Thanks

Plan-G (not "G-Plan") is a standalone flight planner. It can be made to interact with FSX and display your aircraft's position on its map, but it does not do anything to or inside FSX.

It does not use Google Maps.

Apologies for using wrong name. Plan-G it is.

(I think G-Plan was a furniture concept from the sixties)  :-[

I have been browsing manual and forums and will download Plan-G shortly.

Thanks
