When I make a flight plan and try to export it to fs9, it doesn't work. I have to manually move it  from the .plg area to flightsim files (fs9) i.e. c:\users\paul\documents\flight simulator files. Am I doing something wrong? Is it a bug?

Still no joy. Have tried several things such as re-install but problem remains.

Paul,

It seems to me that Plan-G only remembers the "last used" folder save location and not separate save locations for each of the save functions IE. "Save as FS9.pln" , "Save as FSX.pln" or "Save as Plan-G.plg". I donot remember though if that occours on an "open" though.   What I did is create shortcuts to each of the needed folders and placed them all in the other folders. I use FS9 and FSX so the following is what I did, after that all it requires is one click to get the newly created plan, no matter the type, to get into the correct folder when the "save as" dialog is open.

Shortcut to FSX plans gets placed in FS9 and Plan-G plan folders.
Shortcut to FS9 plans gets placed in FSX and Plan-G plan folders.
Shortcut to Plan-G gets placed in FSX and FS9 plan folders.

This works well across a network and I use it for other plan creation programs / other that have the same "save as" operation.
