I have a side question, not directly related but close.

How do I search for a string in set of folders like X-Plane Custom Scenery folder?

I want to indicate the scenery pack that the  too long string message refers to but ther is no separate package of this name.

Another question, how do I find out about update?

Do I just need to keep an eye on the forums or I will be notified automatically as a member?

Just searching back through the log files for 'Manassas' shows it to be in

F:\00 XP 1022 VATSIM\Custom Scenery\KHEF (Org - Aykey25)\

or

G:\X-Plane 10\Custom Scenery\KHEF Manassas Airport (Harry P. Davis Field), Virginia, USA\

depending on if you are arb65912 or Frenzl

Plan-G automatically checks once a week for updates (you can configure that in Settings), but it will be notified here, on the blog and and on Facebook.

@Chuck: thank you but that file just lists the scenery packs which I can see in custom scenery folder. I was thinking about how to fin a string related to scenery pack and Tim just told me.

@Tim: excellent, I should think of just looking for string in Gplan log file, never thought of THAT, NOW I know.

I will remove the offensive package and see if it helps.

I will also configure auto updates.
