Why won't the map pan?

Hi. Am I going mad? Often, I'll go into Plan-G and I am able to pan around the map with the mouse (and zoom with the scroll wheel). But lately, I can't get it to pan - it's like it's been disabled. Does anyone know what's causing this? What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried different map providers? Panning is reliant on new map data arriving from the servers, so it could be there's a problem with your connection.

Not sure what you mean by different providers. I just installed the latest version (3.0.7.71) and it's panning again fine.
