Hello.  Please don't take this as a complaint.  I very much appreciate Plan-G and ver 3 is way ahead of any other program, free or pay, that I'm aware of.

But ver 2 was, imo and others, much better than ver 3.  For me the ability to easily edit by drag&drop the flight plan and to have detailed height right on the map were very nice and many of us were disappointed when google made this version unusable.

I noticed that when someone would ask about ver 2, you would generally beat around the bush and not give a direct answer.  So I'm writing to see if there are any plans to somehow resurrect ver 2 or somehow add those two features to ver 3 in the near future.  I'm hoping for a simple direct answer.    :)

There is zero chance of any work happening on v2 in the near to medium future.

Drag and drop editing is present in v3, it always has been. However in 3.1 it has been restyled to look more like v2, with chunkier drag boxes and an off button.

Mapquest tiles show terrain to a very high zoom in the US, and to level 9 elsewhere (and while I'd prefer it to at least level 10, it's still adequate for most VFR planning)

Thank you for the straight answer.

Somehow I missed the editing and will recheck the manual to try and figure it out.  My understanding was I needed to make a new waypoint and insert that for any editing outside of the direct path.  Glad to see I'm wrong.
