unable to import x-plane data

Hallo,

starting plang and try to import the x-plane data.
But after selecting the x-plane folder and pushing the OK button only the green progress bar is moving from left to right.
Nothing else happens for a very long time  :P

Any idea what is going wrong?

Florian,

Just to be clear; you are selecting X-plane root folder and not the Xplane.exe?
As the green bar progresses left to right does it also tell you what area it is reading, i.e. airports, runways, etc?

Yes, I select the folder with the x-plane executable.

I can read only 'Preparing database for new data. Please wait', nothing else.
This text will not change for a long time. Finally I must kill the plang window.
