PLan-G / P3Dv2 [same computer]

I've found that when I connect Plan-G to P3Dv2 on the same computer, the FPS drops through the floor (from 20-40fps down to 7-15 fps, on average) and the performance in P3Dv2 is 'jittery'.
If I disconnect then I get my performance back. This stops me from using Plan-G as a moving map.
Any ideas?

You could try increasing the update interval in Settings, or disable traffic reporting.

Hmmm. traffic reporting: I did increase the traffic in P3Dv2; I wonder...
