Opening Plan g3 window in FSX

I noticed someone on you tube flying a C172 inFSX with a couple of Plan g3 windows open in the corner of his screen. Could someone explain how to do this as when i click on Plang g3, it automatically minimizes my FSX program.

Is FSX running full screen? If so try running it as a window (alt-Enter), that should allow you to see both windows on the screen at once. If you give FSX the focus Plan-G will go behind FSX. If you have the task bar showing you can Plan-G to the foreground again via the icon.

If you like to run full screen a second monitor is the way to go.

I often have Plan-G maximized and X-Plane full-screen, and I use Alt-Tab to switch between the two (Windows 7). THis may work for you with FSX too.
