ELEVATION NOT WORKING

I have unzipped tiles into documents/plang/dem folder and i still can't get the elevation profile to work.
Does it take some form of alchemy?
I have tried every thing i can think of still nothing.

Any one with any ideas or solutions please.

It looks like the "files" needed are still in their unzipped folders. The files by themselves should be inside the DEM folder with no other folders inside DEM.

All sorted now...... I figured out that the files should not be in floders inside the DEM folder took them out and it works fine now.
