Flightplans wont save

[Radial9]

Hello... left FS for about 60 days while out of town, fired back up to fly and I'm finding I cannot save or saveas any newly created flight plans.

No response at all when clicking dave icon. Pulling down saveas and clicking brings me right back to map without the plan saved.

Windows 7 Pro

Any suggestions?

Try deleting the config file - location is in the readme.

Deleting the config file seems to have done the trick. FYI, once I did so and restarted Plan G, it crashed my computer. A reboot and relaunch worked just fine. Plans are saving now.

Have you assigned your MyDocuments folder to a virtual drive, or installed any Explorer shell extensions? Those are about the only things I'm aware of that could make the dialog simply return False without even opening.

Hi Tim. No, I do not currently have any virtual drives enabled or assigned. The funny thing about this is that I installed Dot Net 4.5+ BEFORE Plan-G this time around and this is happening. I was on Win8 and believe it or not everything was working fine. I have went back to 7-64bit because of OS preference. So, what I CAN actually do in the program atm is actually connect to FSX and follow my flight. I can start a flight plan and add way points, but strangely I cannot delete way points, nor can I set the FSX folder. When I try to set the FSX folder for the exe and the scenery.cfg files Plan-G just goes straight back to the map view just like when trying to open or save a flight plan. I am stumped.

Thought I would add a CCLEANER installation file for you so you can see the currently installed programs.

Note that you will see Normal FSX and Steam FSX installations. This problem was happening before installation of the Steam version, I only reinstalled it because a friend and I fly together and he does not have an original copy, only Steam.

Well Tim, I got to looking at my installed programs there and realized there is no MS C++ 2012 redistributable. I downloaded and installed the x86 and x64 updates and Wallah!
So, I guess it is safe to assume that this particular redistributable is necessary to Plan-G?(At least for win7?)
