Can I use this flight planning tool for IFR flight planning for my PMDG 737NGX?

Thank you...

Can a PMDG 737NGX read standard FSX flight plans?

No, the NGX (and other PMDG birds) doesn't understand MSFs flightplans. I couldn't even imagine how this could work in an adequate way.

Thank you...

You're welcome. If you don't want to buy a commercial tool like FSC9 or FSBuild (I think PFPX should do it as well) you could decide to do you planning with online charts of Skyvector.com. This offers the proper airways allowing to avoid for longer flights the input of all the waypoints in-between. However, usually you need to have charts or the specific capabilities of planning tools to check the right end or entry points for SIDs and STARs.

After all, even if Tim offers in principle some tools to handle that too his Plan-G remains at the moment rather focussed on VFR.
