Hello!

Wondering if anybody encountered such a problem. Installed 3.1.0.82 version, had some 3.0.X version before. After installation, browse dialog does not open at all, e.g. Open, Save As, Open aircraft profile, no dialog is shown. When doing browse from Options/Locations for example, it closes option dialog and just goes back to map. I'm 100% sure this has worked before with old version. Plan saving/opening is basically not possible.

Plan-G runs with admin rights, no errors appear in the log file, .NET framework version 4.5.2, Windows 7 64-bit.

Hello!

Stupid question: have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Plan-G? I didn't understand if you removed the old version befor installing the new.

Hi,

This is actually quite normal question. When i installed 3.1, i thought that maybe it is ok to just point it to same folder as 3.0, so i kinda "overwrote" it. But regardless of that, i did try removing everything (also documents and app data folder), and fresh install of 3.1, but result is the same.

But good news is that i found solution, i tried installing 4.5.1 .NET (as mentioned in readme), and viola, browse dialogs work again. Not really sure why 4.5.2 is causing described problems for me.

Does it crash? or hang? or just go back to whatever it was doing?

No, it does not hang nor crash visibly, e.g. browse in settings, it closes options dialog and goes back to map (maybe crashes internally). For aircraft profile, Open, it does not do anything, no window is open. For Open/Save, it does not open dialog at all, nothing happens.

But 4.5.1 does the job for me for now.

Could you look in the log file and see if anything is reported for the time you attempt to use the dialog?
(log files are only kept for 24 hours so it may have already gone if you've used Plan-G for more than a day after going back to 4.5.1)
