If I want to "open" a flightplan, it's rhe same thing. Nothing arrives. I folllowed the readme texte and I installed with "administrateur" and I don't install the program in X86 directory... Somebody can help me ?

Hello,

I have the exact same problem. Tried reinstalling several times without any success. I have installed it outside of Program Files but can't save any plans. If I click save or save as no windows comes up. Instead, it goes back to the map view.  Same thing happens when I click export plan. I have version 3.1.1.94. and Win 7 64bit.

PLEASE HELP!!

tim arnot

*** THIS IS A TEST BUILD - NOT FOR GENERAL USE ***

Please do exactly the following:

1. Copy your Plan-G3.exe to a safe location (you will need to put it back when the test is complete)
2. Unzip the attached file and replace your old Plan-G3.exe with it.
3. DELETE your log file (Plan-G Files\Plan-G_Log.txt)
5. Run Plan-G
6. Attempt to open a flight plan (File -> Open etc). You will need to change file types to pln if you don't have any saved plg files.
7. Close down Plan-G. DO NOT DO ANY OTHER ACTIVITY or you will make the log file big and unwieldy.
8. Attach the log to this thread.

Thank you. :)

Hello,

I have done exactly as stated. But same thing..it goes back to the map view instead of showing a new open or save as window. And i have also noticed there are some saved flight plans in the Trail folder with .IGC extension. They are saved when I try to exit Plan-G and it asks to save any unsaved plan.  Log file is attached.

Another thing wanted to mention that, when I follow my aircraft on Plan-G map it shows the aircraft has not reached the point, whereas in fsx the aircraft already gone past of that reference point. Plan-G is not catching up with fsx. Is it normal?

Thanks

PIPOU

Ok I'll try this. I'm not at home for the moment. I'll send you the result... Thanks.

PIPOU

Does'nt work... always the same. :(

SlashD0T

I have found a way to make it work. But now the waypoint notification doesn't work anymore.

Right click on Plan-G icon and select compatibility as XP SP3. After that export, open or saving flight plan works well for me.

It's strange.  ::)

The software was working perfectly until yesterday, and then, this problem began to happen to me too.

I would send you the log with the test file you posted above but I'm using the WinXP release.
I think I cannot use the same file...

Bye all.

Nigrid

In addition to the previous post, I have observed that the file is created, but without extension.
If I rename the file adding: .plg, it doesn't works, too.

However, if I save a non-edited flightplan, only with departure and destination airfields, the save function work.

Best regards.

Nigrid

Partially solved to me:

Well. If when I save the file I add *.plg at the end of the title, everything is ok.

It's all that I've found until now.

It's strange that the software has been working perfectly during weeks and, suddenly, this began to happen, without important changes at the SO.

Bye.

PIPOU

So.... I tryed to start Plan G with SP3 and... YES IT'S WOOORKS!!!! The menus "save" and "export" appears... but only it's works only with the airports (departure and destination)... I'm going to suicide and I come back later...
