can any-one please explain to me why my Plan-G now crasher's my FSX each time I select 'connect' in Plan-G, I have  Plan-G for ages with no issue's.  As you can see I have the latest download, when I select to connect to vatsim within FSX there is no issue only It's when I try when trying to use 'connect' in Plan-G.

Please attach your log file. There's nothing inherently different about connecting with 3.1.2

Hi Tim,
Really grateful for your help. As mentioned earlier, I have re-installed FSX and tried connecting to PG just suing the basic installation and no extra sceneries added, I then added the sceneries and both resulted in the same put come. When I started PG with FSX running I pressed the 'connect' button, I also pressed the 'VATSIM' button which worked okay, but after pressing the 'connect' my FSX crashed. I have also tried loading FSX first the PG then PG followed by FSX with no change. When I just run FSX I can connect to vatsim with no problems, so my internet connect seems to be okay.

As requested my log file is attached, thank you.

As you mentioned elsewhere, going back to the old version also results in an FSX crash, so the problem is not connected to the new release.

The log file shows nothing out of the ordinary.

Since it's FSX that's crashing, I'd suggest looking at the Windows crash report to see if that offers any clues. (faulting module etc). Since the only interaction with Plan-G is via Simconnect, it may be you have a corruption there. You could always try connecting through FSUIPC, and see if that's more stable.

Hi Tim,
Again appreciate your input, as of last night I decided to connect via FSUIPC which works, so as you say it must be something within FSX. What I could not understand is even after a full un-install & re-install FSX still crashed, and this has only just started. So as long as FSUIPC keeps running I'm okay with that.

Thanks once again.
