feature request: turning the airport layout into a moving map

I won't probably be the first to mention it ...
be it would be of GREAT help if one could taxi with the airport diagram as a moving map, let alone the chance of highlighting the path from a given runway to a given parking spot.

I just wanted to ask for this very same feature when a search provided this contribution. I would find it very helpful if the airport diagrams could be overlaid over the main map when zooming in or at least having the aircraft moving within the separate airport diagram.
