Aircraft position immovable

In FSX, the position of the aircraft as shown in Map view no longer follows its position in FSX.

It is stuck in one place.

I have tried reinstalling the program but to no avail.

Do you mean the aircraft stays in the middle of the map? Or the aircraft stays in the same position on the map?

How have you connected to FSX? Simconnect? FSUIPC?

What do you have the map update set to? Free, Sync or Lock?

Aircraft stays in same position on map.

Tried closing and reopening FSX, which resulted 9in aircraft not showing up at all on map.

Connected to FSX with FSUIPC, also tried SimConnect.

Tried all three of Free, Sync and Lock.

Just tried again with success. This time I made sure FSX was not paused, although previously I had tried un-pausing FSX but aircraft position on map remained fixed.

Who knows...! :(
