I noticed a number of small airstrips that are shown only on the Google Earth download of my Orbx PNW and other sceneries.  I try to open the *.KML file and the map moves to the middle of the ocean and no additional data is displayed.  Any ideas?

Can you try it in the beta of 3.1.3? You'll find it in a thread stickied at the top of this board. There have been some KML fixes, and it may well be cured.

Let me know?
If it's not, I'll ask you for a copy of the kml file.
Thx.

That's what I already asked some time ago here:

Same problems still for me.

Dieter

Dieter, did you try the 3.1.3 beta? That one should be fixed.

Dieter

Yes, I confirm, the problem has been solved for me with your v3.1.3 test version, kmz files are shown now on the map.
(Only the very old tongass.kmz file doesn't work)
Thank you!

Dieter:

Do you have any labels on yours?  I actually removed the KML overlay as there is no labels...

Dieter

@ckelly14
When I open a kml or kmz file all affected places are marked by a label (symbol)
Is that what you mean?
