I've been using Plan G now for years.  It's a truly amazing program and I utilize it for all my planning.  Last night, I was using it and all my data objects disappeared from the screen and now, nothing shows.  Airports, intersections, airspace, VOR's, nothing will show on the map.  I re-built the database, uninstalled and re-installed, I even downloaded Plan G from the website again and installed the new one.  Nothing works.  I figured I'd ask to see if anyone has any ideas.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Just an update.....  I've been playing around with this and notice that after I uninstall and re-install the program, I open it and it seems to have all my setting I changed.  Sort of like it's not actually completely uninstalling and starting over.  It's definitely a database issue.  When I open a plan, the path will appear but when I hover over a waypoint, there is nothing showing the name.  I've tried uninstalling from the control panel and from the uninstall.exe in the folder.  I really hope I can resolve this because I don't know what I would do without it.  What a way to spend a day off!

Another update.....  I finally got it working last night.  I placed the file in a different folder on my hard drive and it worked just fine.  Never thought that would be the issue but it worked.  I just figured I would let everyone know in case this happens to amyone else.  Take care!

Go to the View ribbon and toggle "Show Overlays" off and on - that's the easiest way to get things back when they don't redraw.

If things get really screwed up, it's worth deleting the config (refer to the readme for location). Un/reinstall is rarely if ever, worthwhile. The config is not removed by an uninstall, because it's not an installed file - it's created when the program is run.
