Not able to print Flight Plan or Route

I am only one month into this great program and I continually keep learning.
The problem I am presently having is I am not able to print my Flight Plan or Route. The system actually hangs-up. My system and printer are both functioning well.
Is there any tip someone can give me regarding this?

I originally posted the above on Jan. 18 but had not heard from anyone as yet, Jan. 28.
I sure would like to be able to print either my flight plan or route but it just does not work.
Please help if you can.

Thanks to my continual searching from time to time - I got the answer from a post back in 2012

I followed the instructions by gajft and my problem is solved - Printer needs to be set to direct printing and not through a spooler.
