Aircraft icon

Having set up a flight plan and having highlighted the Sim Connect radio button to link with my FSX: Steam edition, when I get underway my aircraft icon is not appearing on the Plan G map.
What is amiss?

Display User Aircraft turned off in settings? (press F6 to toggle) -- assuming you're successfully connected (check wind arrow is present in top left corner)
