Status bar layout editable?

Hi,

is it possible to edit the layout of the staus bar?

I am running Plan-G on a small monitor (1024x786) in my home cockpit (no room for a bigger one  :P) and the right end of the status bar is cut off. So the ETA at destination, of all things, is not visible. If this could be moved to the left side of the status bar or if the Lat/Lon could be removed to make room I would be very glad  :)
