Installed .120 today, couldn't get any dialog to point where so overwrote .113 = No problem.
Initial tests seem all good.

Hi Tim -   3.1.4 auto installed over prior version with no problem. However, I can not get my MAPBOX id to work. I still use the original type of id xxxxxx.xxxxxx and 3.1.4 will not display any tiles. I tried filling in both boxes, splitting it between, etc - no joy. Went back to earlier version - works just fine.

After I upgraded to 3.1.4 the MapBox fields were empty and I had to put in the Key and ID again.

If you still have a working older version then you can copy the Key and ID from there.

Else you can find the old config files of all versions in user/your-name/ApplData/Local/TA_Software/.../user.config and look for MapBoxKey1 and MapBoxID1.

Dempsey - I know my id - it doesn't work in this version - it works just fine in the old version. It's the version not the id.

You should be able to get a v4 key from your Mapbox account - they're phasing out the old v3 keys.

Well, I must be getting dumber in my old age cuz I cannot get the new key to work. First question, the 3.1.4 mapbox key has two entries. The mapobo id from the link is only one. Tried a mix and match of old and new key - just a mess.

I thought the "old" mapbox was easy to set up - this new one is not user friendly imho  Was able to get a useless map to show.

Is there a way to use the "old" map project I designed and link it to the new key ( assuming I can figure out part 1 and 2.

Frustration level increasing exponentially........

The old v3 api was deprecated several years ago, and certainly my maps got converted to v4 (I was led to believe they all were), but I'll see if I can't dig the old v3 provider out of my archives and add it back in.

In addition to Tim's link a few tips -
1) It was found that it may take a few hours for the Mapbox V3,4 key/map id to propagate throughout the worldwide servers. Maybe setup the key/map id in Plan-G, shutdown Plan-G then wait overnight.
2) On my networked XP platform laptop I couldn't get the new V3 entries to work until I logged into Mapbox on that machine. Could be a fluke, but it was instantaneous after the login. Maybe a cookie has to present on the machine?? No clue.

ok - got it sorted. whew!  I think the time factor was the issue. Put my old key and new id in and it worked. Yesterday it did not.
