Hi.

I have set up Plan-G according to your instructions, ran both databases for FS9 and FSX. Set up all connections correctly. (My PC is not connected to a Network although I have another PC connected to the same router.)
I have created a flight plan in Plan-G and loaded the same, start FS9 and select FS9 in the data window, (indicates yellow). Every thing appears to be accepted OK. Click on connect, Plan-G hesitates for a second or so and then the Microsoft box appears and says that Plan_G has a problem and needs to shut down. For me there is no identifiable reason why it shuts down.  I have checked the Plan-G log txt and connect identify what has happened. I have a payware copy of the latest FSUIPC and it is up to date.
All settings are correct in Plan-G as far as I can tell I just don't know what else to do.
Help.

I think I have solved the problem. In FS Connections I deleted the FSX and the port numbers from the default settings, started a new Flight Plan and FS9 connected OK. I had a little difficulty starting connection with FS9 as it was showing that I was connected to FSX (which I wasn't). After a few clicks on the FS9 box in the Data section it connected at last.
There is one thing that I noticed, and that is, if I imported a flight plan from FS9 which had been generated by either FSNav or Flight Sim Commander the programme refused to connect. In future I will generate flight plans only from Plan-G  when I use this new flight planning system.

Plan-G works great and I especially like the hybrid views travelling along the flight route.

Could you upload one of those flightplans, and I'll investigate what is the problem. Thanks

Hi Tim.

When I can figure out how to send the flt plan I will do so.

Underneath the edit box, when you reply to a message, there is a section called 'Additional options'. Click on that, and there is an 'Attach' box with a browse button...

Hi Tim.

Hope this flt plan gets through.

I don't have a problem connecting to either FS9 or FSX with that flight plan open, so I'm going to have to suggest you look in the log file and see if there are any errors when you try to connect.
