Can't move Data to computer without FSX installed?

Hello,

I'm trying to move my Plan G Data folder into an installation on my laptop (which does not have FSX installed) to hopefully use Plan G on my network.  I've moved the Data folder into the installation on my laptop, but still no sim data, so Plan G won't do anything except ask to build a database.  On further investigation, I find that my Data folder only contains the files "countries.txt, MEF.sdf, and UserWpts3.sdf".  No FSX data file.  Any thoughts on why this isn't being created by my installation of Plan G running on my FSX computer?  Plan G DOES work properly on my FSX computer, btw...

Thanks!

Hi Stearmandriver,

from my knowledge, the database is stored in Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data
Here are some sdf files called PLANG3_* for each simulator. In my case (I am using XPlane) it is PLANG3_XPX.sdf
There is also a UserWPTS3.sdf and a MEF.sdf
sdf files from simulators you are not using have a really small size - the big one is the one, that contains the data.

Perhaps it helps,

happy flying

Ah hah, thanks Joerg!

I was looking in the wrong place, in the Data folder in the Program Files (x86)/Plan G folder, not in the Documents/Plan G Files/Data folder.  Got it now!
