Hello,

A question,

After rebuild the Navigation Database, the oil Riggs from NL2000 doesn't appear on the map.
How can I solve that?
Thank you in advance

Jacob

Assuming they were there before . . .

Was the NL2000 scenery active in your sim when you built the database?

If so,

Did Plan-G use the correct scenery.cfg? (you can tell this from the Build Locations dialog, or from looking in the log file. And finally, are there ant build errors reported in the log?

Tim,

Thanks for your answer.
I have checked your suggestions but their I can't find any problem.
I will attache the log file.
Perhaps you can see if there is anything wrong.

Jacob.

Tim,

To day I have removed all Plan-G giles, re-install Plan-G3.1.4
and build the Navigation Database.

Plan-G is build on a separate harddisk wich even held the software of NL2000

FYI I attached the new Logfile

Do you have a side-by-side install with regular FSX? (Or have you previously had an install of regular FSX?)

if so, you could change your scenery.cfg location in Plan-G to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE

Then it'll pick up your addon scenery.

Tim,

I don't have FSX, only the Steam version.

I have had installed and removed  Plan version  v3.1.2, 3.1.4 and 3.2.0.144 om my computer.
The latest version that it works fine was 3.1.4.
Can anything go wrong with uninstall several versions so that remain files?

Uninstalling and reinstalling almost never serves any useful purpose.

The best option right now is to set the correct scenery.cfg location.

Tim,

I have found one scenery.cfg file  and changed the location as said.
View the attached file.

After doing this I closed Plan_G, restart  it.
But nothing happends. Don't see the Riggs

I have to stop looking now for an solution (busy).

When I have time I go flying the other direction.

So far so good
Thanks for your time and cooperation and for the amazing  Plan_G.

Hello Tim. I have the same problem in versie 2.0
In version 3.1.4.123 the oil rigs are visable, see attachment. But not in version 3.2
I think something must be wrong in the last version.

Also there are none POI's visable in the last version.

Mister Tim, please a reaction or solution, please!

tim arnot

Sorry, not been online for a few days.

Assuming your missing oil rigs are not due to using the wrong scenery.cfg (which was the OP's problem - he had zero addons), right now I have no idea why just the rigs in one scenery should suddenly stop being read. I shall have to get a copy of that scenery and investigate further.

POIs are a different database. Generally you need to reapply any changes you've made, or restore a backup of your existing one (a bit clunky, I know).

Thank you for your answer. You mean that I have to sent you the "bgl" file with the oilrigs? ( In Dutchs "booreiland"). If yes where can I send it to? But then first I have to ask the scenery makers of NL2000 if they allow me to send it to you. But I will wait first if you mean that I have to send it to you.

tim arnot

No need - if you can just say which package it's in, I can download that from their site and set it up by their installer.

Okay, here's a workaround:

Open the scenery.cfg file (in C:\programData\Microsoft\FSX) and find the entry for nl2k_v4_3D then change the line Active=True to Active=TRUE

It's being case sensitive when it shouldn't. That'll be fixed in the next build.
