Does installing Plan-G modify FSX in any way?

I want to make sure that if I am not happy with the tool that it has not done anything to FSX or modified the default behaviour of the MAP and flight plan tool in FSX in anyway.

Is it completely external?

No it is completely seperate and b***** good too!

No. The only thing it does is writes its settings to the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TAS\Plan-G). It does not alter FS in any way.
